A SUNNY find for shoppers means they can get 20% off Argos garden furniture, just in time for warm weather.
The “secret” code means the price of products, including pricey hot tubs and the store’s own version of the famous hanging egg chair, is discounted.
Last year, retailers repeatedly sold the best-selling garden products.
And now that the sun has finally arrived in the UK, it means Britons are starting to venture out into their outdoor spaces again – but the furniture might need a sprucing up before guests can start coming.
Argos shoppers have found they can get a discount on the most popular products, which means a garden upgrade for less.
The 20% discount code was posted on the bargain hunting forum, hotukdeals.
More than 300 products are eligible for the offer, from lawn chairs and spa filters to spas and patio sets.
You can buy Argos’ four-person CleverSpa hot tub for just £280, for example, instead of its full price of £350 by applying the discount code.
This means shoppers can save £70 on their outgoings.
Meanwhile, the store’s cheapest hanging egg chair, which normally costs £360 to buy, is only £288 when the 20% discount code is used.
And shoppers can save £72 with the offer.
But to claim it, you will need to add “GARDEN20” in the promo box at checkout.
You can only use the code to access the online discount, so there’s no chance of bagging the budget garden furniture in store at Argos.
This means you’ll need to factor in at least an extra £3.95 for delivery on top of your expenses.
But you can pick up for free at your nearest branch if you want to avoid additional costs.
Because the products on offer have been so popular in the past, it means they could sell out quickly – especially now that they’re discounted.
This means shoppers need to get in quickly if they don’t want to miss out.
But you shouldn’t go broke just because the products are on offer or you risk going over budget.
You should also have a store before committing to a purchase.
You can buy a hanging egg chair from Aldi, for example, for just £190 – making it £108 cheaper than one from Argos, even with the 20% off.
Meanwhile, Morrisons is selling a hot tub for just £300, which would normally be £50 cheaper than the lowest available from Argos.
The Arm Argos version with the 20% discount though, and its £20 cheaper than the budget supermarket.
And that’s not the only discount shoppers can claim from Argos, as the brand has another 20% off which is also live right now.
You can get 20% off BBQs with the code ‘BBQ20’, as well as 10% off LG TVs and Hotpoint cookers with their own ‘secret’ codes.
But just like the garden furniture deal, they all end on March 29 as well.
